I've always wanted to visit Belgian! :)

Jenny: Good question about the canning jars! In this instance, I just used them as regular jars, so no need to process them. I just needed something small to hold food products, but you could re-use the jars later for canning (just buy new lids for the seals). Cranberry Nut Bread--hmmmm, sounds yummy! :)Jill @ Jillicious Discoverieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02048655342233149007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580403633674593743.post-14118542823795658482009-12-07T23:49:18.902-08:002009-12-07T23:49:18.902-08:00Jill, those might look to good to give away! ;P W...Jill, those might look to good to give away! ;P What a great idea! Have a question...I have never canned anything before, do I have to follow the canning procedues for these too? Or as long as the jars are clean and dry will do?

Most years, I make a Cranberry Nut Bread as gifts. Some years, I'd made something different, it all depends on what I feel. :)Jenny Tanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13789020502641769778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580403633674593743.post-36416120481747529412009-12-07T23:42:18.615-08:002009-12-07T23:42:18.615-08:00Oh, my. So everyone gets at least one jarred goods, then they will get (either not all) cake, cookies, candy and so much more. I give out to all my co-workers and friends. It's a lot of work but I like it. Last year I cooked up over 500 cookies (no total not types) and I did after work. It took about 4 hours. I have the doughs in the freezer.Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16409373317992938983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580403633674593743.post-4261676899538753132009-12-07T17:57:20.526-08:002009-12-07T17:57:20.526-08:00I love this idea! Great question--I added this information to the post, but a fine mesh strainer would work fine.
